Collecting has been good so when I got out of work today I ran down to the beach. Got there to find the beach pretty darn sandy, only a small strip of larger things deposited along the high tide mark. It was in this are I found the awesome megalodon shark tooth and the knife blade. This happened in about the first twenty minutes, great way to start. Things got dry until I found my first saw shark from the area, I was super stoked.
